What to Expect

Never stitched before? Tried it years ago but not sure if you remember anything?
No worries! This workshop includes all the basics of hand embroidery and you will leave with a finished project and, hopefully, the inspiration to dive into more.
Bonus: Beverages and snacks will be available.

All the supplies you use during the workshop are yours to take home! You’ll leave ready to tackle your next embroidery project whenever you want.

With a small and intimate class, you’ll receive close guidance and one-on-one support.
This project is designed specifically to be approachable even if you have never touched a needle and thread before. Over our 2.5 hours together you will get plenty of hands-on stitching experience to build your confidence and inspire future projects.

Your embroidered pouch is yours to keep.
Inside, you can store the scissors, needle, hoop, and thread that you used so you can add to it or start your next project! There will also be a little info sheet you can take with you in case you need to reference anything from our time together.

The workshop will be held at Studio Buddy (2991 A Dundas St. W.) in the Junction neighbourhood of Toronto.
Specific location details and instructions will be sent to you before the workshop date.
Please note that this studio has stairs and is unfortunately not otherwise accessible for guests with mobility limitations at this time. We're sorry about this and hope to improve accessibility in the future.

Absolutely! This workshop covers all the basics that you need to try it for the very first time (and hopefully love it!)

There will be no more than 7 students in each workshop in order to facilitate a low-pressure environment and personalized support.

Yes! Light refreshments will be available. Feel free to bring your water bottle to stay hydrated.

Due to the use of needles and sharp scissors, we are currently welcoming participants aged 16 and up.

Please cancel at least 7 days before the event so your spot can be offered to someone else.
